This wood comes from the streets of Winnipeg, is dried and milled by a local company, and then turned into end grain boards by me. It is the definition of shopping LOCAL. Elm also makes a wonderful end grain board as the wood is classified as a hardwood but has a softer density, making it ideal for keeping your knives sharp!

Made from 100% local Elm.
Rubber feet on bottom.
Sanded perfectly smooth.
Juice groove around perimeter.
Durable, long lasting, shows little knife marks after years of use.
Sealed with food safe mineral oil and bees wax.
Easy to clean and maintain, hand wash only.
Wooden cutting boards are naturally antimicrobial-kill bacteria-safer than plastic or glass cutting boards.
I recommend a tin of Wood & Grain Board Conditioner with this cutting board. It’s advised to apply a oil sealant once a month or when wood is looking dry.
