When I came across that piece of Curly Walnut I knew I had to use it for something special. The most beautiful and unique pieces of wood are always saved for Box lids. The Box is a combination of Sapele from Africa, and Walnut and Maple from Ontario, Canada. It has beautiful strip work along the Box, Maple splines, and ornate hardware.
It is truly a wonderful one of a kind piece and I had an absolute pleasure making it.
